Why I Founded Homeland Interiors
In 2018, I was working as a design supervisor for a large nationwide interior firm. Time and again, I watched clients receive stunning, high-resolution 3D renders that bore very little relation to the actual woodwork delivered to their homes. Subcontractors had no ownership of the finish, and materials were chosen purely to boost company profit margins.
I founded Homeland Interiors in 2019 on a single simple principle: **everything we promise in our designs goes into our physical execution contracts, and we deliver exactly that.** We eliminated subcontracting. Every carpenter, designer, painter, and site manager on your project is an in-house employee. We control the quality from the raw wood core to the final paint coat.
Focusing exclusively on the Kerala region allows us to specialize. Designing in a tropical, coastal state means you cannot cut corners with generic MDF sheets or cheap particle board. Kerala homes face intense monsoons and high humidity levels. Knowing this deeply shapes how we work: we use only 710 Grade marine ply, apply anti-seepage primers, and design ventilation lines that keep spaces cool and dry.
